Backseat

I switched the tune
And the road began to bow.
I never knew a bird
To fly so high.
I wish that I had known.

He sang along and
In my head it sounded sweet.
It called the breeze
And lifted the dust up off the street.
I need to know.

I feel like a child again
Staring up at monster machines
Curious lights
Curious eyes
I am not sure what it all means.
Tell me please?
