Hello! I’m Maia: a British teenager with a penchant for travel, literature, left-wing politics and tweeting sarcastically. I go to 6th Form College in a crummy little town (but I enjoy it) and there I study Politics, Philosophy, and History. I also work part-time in an estate agency (I’m saving up for a gap year!)

I am procrastinator extraordinaire and I guess I also find it pretty hard to write bios.

I’m not too sure where I’m going with this blog, but I hope it will end up being a lovely little collection of my rambling thoughts – mostly poetry, the occasional political rant, and a few personal posts – so enjoy reading my diary! I’d also really like to just get to know, and chat with some like-minded people on (what seems to be) a fairly friendly social networking site so please feel free, and welcome, to drop me a hello/goodbye!

  1. Hi Maia, I just came across your blog and immediately I voted for you! Your work is brilliant. Btw, I live in Brighton and lived in West Worthing during my sixth form college years. Small world I think they call it!! Anyway, I’m an oldster now, but I’d love to connect with you on WordPress. I don’t see too many people blogging who are from our part of the world; so I’m excited about following your creative journey as it unfolds on these virtual pages. Have a lovely weekend πŸ™‚ Michele

    • Haha, wow! That’s such a coincidence! Thank you so much for your comments (and your vote) it really means a lot to me – and I’m very honored to have it coming from someone with your bio πŸ™‚ I also find your blog interesting, entertaining, and thought-provoking and would love continue chatting on here.

      Keep in touch! Maia.
